Their website is TERRIBLE to navigate when you log and track the claim but who cares - they replaced my purchase no questions asked. GREAT experience and the drive is humming along perfectly. SO impressed with their speed and zero hassle replacement. Read more Sent the drive to their office in ALexandria, they received it next day and logged it so I could see on their system they had it and less then a week later I received a brand new replacement. Totally fair but I figured I would try anyways. Laptop would not recognise it all.Ĭhecked online and warranty was still good for another 18 months (you just search on the S/N no need for a receipt or anything) but of course it said they would not cover things like accidental damage - like dropping it. I dropped it pretty hard recently - enough for me to think 'Uh oh this is NOT good' and of course when I plugged it in - nothing. The included backup software is rubbish but there's plenty around - I ended up using EaseUS which is free and as reliable as any other with no annoying ads. Used mine for backup plus storing an expanding movie library.
